Hello lights!

Let's face it, on these long and dark winter days depressive feelings or an extreme lack of energy can make some of the simplest tasks extremely draining and challenging.

This is the time of year when many of us will begin experiencing symptoms of the mood disorder called seasonal affective disorder (SAD).

We are certainly feeling it over here at Hope Clinic and that’s why we’ve decided to do something about it.

This year throughout the clinic we are replacing all our lamp light bulbs with full spectrum lights to prepare for this SAD season. Now as you wait for your appointment or all throughout your appointment, you’ll be getting a touch of sunlight!

Feeling tired? Missing the sun? Go find some light.

If you feel you or someone in your family might be feeling the effects of SAD this winter, Dr. Brad recommends that you first come in and check to see if your metabolism and energy systems are working like they are supposed to.

Another helpful option is to create a light therapy nook in your house. Replace your normal lamp light bulbs with full spectrum light bulbs. Now your family will be getting a constant feeling of sunlight in your own home! Be sure to create your light therapy nook in a room where your family spends the most time.

We are also now carrying the high-end spectrum lights here at the clinic. Be sure to ask us if you have any questions.
